Reigning Champions Spain Secure Victory, Italy Edges Croatia

The 2024 European Championship kicked off with a bang as both Spain and Italy emerged victorious in their opening matches. Spain, the reigning European champions, cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win over Croatia, while Italy fought hard to secure a 1-0 victory against Turkey.

Spain Dominates Croatia

Spain took control of the match from the outset, dominating possession and creating numerous chances. Alvaro Morata gave Spain the lead just after the half-hour mark, and goals from Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres sealed the victory in the second half.
