New England Revolution v CF Montreal: Courtois targets strong mental approach

The New England Revolution will look to extend their winning streak to three games when they host CF Montreal on Saturday night.

The Revs are coming off a 2-1 victory over the Chicago Fire last weekend, while Montreal is winless in its last three games (0-2-1).

New England is currently in third place in the Eastern Conference standings with 30 points, while Montreal is in ninth place with 22 points.

Courtois says the Revs need to be mentally strong in order to beat Montreal.

"We need to be mentally strong," Courtois said. "We need to be able to stay focused and not get frustrated. We need to be able to grind out a result."

Courtois also said the Revs need to be clinical in front of goal.

"We need to take our chances," Courtois said. "We need to be able to put the ball in the back of the net. We need to be more clinical in front of goal."

The Revs will be without a few key players on Saturday night.

Carles Gil, Matt Turner, and Tajon Buchanan are all away on international duty.

However, Courtois said he is confident in the players who will be available.

"We have a good squad," Courtois said. "We have a lot of depth. We have a lot of quality. I'm confident in the players who will be on the field."

The Revs will need to be at their best to beat Montreal.
